Camilla: The inspiration behind Snap Care

Andrew co-founded Snap Care with Sally Britton in 2001. Inspired by his daughter Camilla, who has cerebral palsy, Andrew brings a parent’s perspective to the importance of finding exceptional candidates. Camilla remains our inspiration and motivation to set the benchmark in providing outstanding care and opportunities for children, young people, and adults with disabilities or additional needs.

Sally Britton, Managing Director of Snap Care, specialist SEN and disability support recruitment agency.

Sally Britton: Managing Director
Sally has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology completed as a mature student. Sally has worked in the disability profession since gaining her NNEB (Nursery Nursing Diploma) in 1983. She worked extensively with children with a range of disabilities and additional needs before starting Snap Care with partner Andrew Knight in 2001. Sally continues to manage Snap Care and focuses on the growth and development of the business. Sally is a regular attendee/exhibitor at conferences across the UK, a speaker at various conferences and Case Management Company Professional Training Days, and a host for the Snap Care Webinars. Sally is a Communications and Events Committee Member for The Institute of Registered Case Managers (IRCM). Jade Barisheff: Recruiter
Jade joined Snap Care in June 2026 as a Trainee Recruiter, bringing previous experience in education recruitment, supporting SEN and primary schools with the placement of teachers, teaching assistants and specialist support staff. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, she moved to the UK in 2019 after working at Camp Jotoni in New Jersey, a specialist summer camp for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This experience sparked her passion for supporting individuals with additional needs and has led to a fulfilling career within the SEN and disability sector.

Jade has extensive hands-on experience supporting children, young people and adults with a wide range of complex needs and disabilities across educational, residential and community settings. She also worked at Linden Lodge School, a specialist school for pupils with visual impairments and multi-sensory needs, where she gained her Intervenor qualification, specialising in deafblind support. Having seen first-hand the impact that the right support can have, Jade is passionate about helping families and clients find the right people to make a positive difference in their lives.

Rachael Cordell, Senior Recruiter at Snap Care, specialising in SEN, disability support and care recruitment across the UK.

Rachael Cordell: Recruiter
Rachael is a Senior Recruiter Consultant who joined the Snap Care team way back in 2014. She holds a BSc degree in Psychology and has direct experience working with children and young people with a variety of additional needs. Before joining Snap Care, Rachael worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school and was also a tutor at Explore Learning. She has hands-on experience with autism, ADHD, complex emotional needs, visual impairment, developmental delay and cerebral palsy. Rachael has worked with many clients over the years and is very experienced working on all three of our recruitment desks. She predominantly works on the full recruitment desk, both with children and adult clients. Rachael’s specialist areas are SEN Nanny/Manny roles, behavioural and educational placements.

When not at her desk, Rachael’s days are kept busy with her energetic toddler, Logan. She is very family-oriented and loves theatre, sunshine, cooking and everything Christmas! The weekends are sometimes met with a craving for a rum punch or two, which she has her Jamaican heritage to thank for! Email: Rachael@snapcare.co.uk

Ruth Lillis, Administrator at Snap Care, supporting specialist SEN and disability support recruitment services and client coordination.

Ruth is our full-time administrator. Ruth joined Snap Care back in June 2010 and ensures the smooth running of the office. Ruth manages invoicing and candidate compliance including Right to Work checks, DBS processing and document verification. Ruth has gained a huge amount of knowledge and understanding of specialist childcare and care recruitment since joining Snap Care - she is also an excellent judge of character! Email: Ruth@snapcare.co.uk

Janet MacLennan, Senior Recruiter at Snap Care, helping families and candidates find specialist SEN and disability support placements.

Janet MacLennan: Recruiter
Janet has extensive SEN experience She worked for many years supporting children and young people and their families within the home setting, with various additional needs; Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Acquired Brain Injury to name a few. Janet first came to Snap Care in 2004 as a recruiter and then in 2007 had the opportunity to work overseas supporting a young autistic person, she re-joined the team after 5 years.

Kayla Turner, Resourcer at Snap Care, supporting the recruitment of specialist SEN support workers, carers and disability support professionals. Kayla Turner: Resourcer
Kayla has a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and extensive experience in complex medical care. She has worked within the NHS emergency services, residential settings, and private family homes, supporting children, young people, and adults with a range of additional needs, including SEN, Cerebral Palsy, and Epilepsy. Passionate about making a difference, Kayla has built her skills since starting her career at 18 and is now part of the Snap Care team.

Suhada Yasmin: Recruiter

Suhada has been working within the healthcare recruitment industry for the last 6 years, primarily within the NHS. Having gained valuable experience recruiting high-calibre medical professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists, she has since joined the Snap Care team to support the Shortlist Service. Suhada has extensive experience in person-centric roles and enjoys matching candidates with jobs that are both fulfilling and rewarding!
