Snap Care have been absolutely wonderful in helping us find a SEN Nanny for our son. After finding ourselves in the unexpected situation of needing help, Rachael was friendly, helpful and patient with us as we navigated our new situation. She spent time to understand our situation and our requirements, and she found us the perfect candidate. All our questions were answered, and advice was offered when needed to enable us to successfully find a solution to our needs. Follow up calls have ensured any teething questions were answered too, and so far our Nanny is working out very well. I would highly recommend using Snap Care!

Sian, Parent.

Let Snap Care support you from start to finish. We will carry out all aspects of the recruitment for you.

This is an ideal option for clients wanting the reassurance of an experienced recruitment company taking care of all aspects of the recruitment process. This service provides the greatest level of support and offers a 6-month guarantee.

Following an online home visit/consultation, your recruiter will create a bespoke job advert for you that will be widely promoted: Sent to targeted candidates on our extensive database built up since 2001, via our social media platforms and on premium external job boards and of course, featured on the Snap Care website. Snap Care is well-known in the industry, with candidates regularly checking our website for new jobs.

We will then shortlist your applications, call candidates to confirm they meet the objective criteria for the role as set by you, carry out recruiter interviews and manage all compliance including confirming right-to-work status, reference checks (written and verbally verified), document and ID check, and process and pay for a DBS police check. We will then send you full details of qualified candidates for you to interview.

See Agency Fees for more information including discounts.

The Process:

 1. Speak with one of our recruiters

If we have not yet worked with you, we like to have an informal conversation to explain how we work and understand how you would like to.  Our consultants are approachable, professional, and knowledgeable and will be pleased to answer any questions you have. Our number is 020 7729 2200, Monday to Thursday, 9.00am to 5.30pm, Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm.

2. Complete a Vacancy Registration Form

To start the process, please complete a vacancy registration form.
Feel free to send additional Job Descriptions or Person /Job Specifications. Once we have received this and we confirm it is a vacancy we can assist with, we will raise the £900.00 + VAT commitment fee.

3. On-line Consultation/Home Visit

When the payment of the commitment fee has been received, we will arrange an online consultation/home visit to fully understand your needs. This is an important part of our service; we know that for successful placements, we need as much information as possible to find your best-matched candidates and help make your vacancy appealing to the right candidates.

Consultations typically last between 45 minutes to an hour but can be longer as needed. Online consultations can usually be arranged outside of typical office hours if required.

4. Bespoke Job Advert and Costs

We will then send you the final costings and a bespoke job advert that has been created to attract the candidates you will be interested in. We ask you to check all the details are correct and nothing is missing; if the advert needs to be changed once recruiting has started, this can have a negative impact on the recruitment drive and additional costs may be incurred. Costs will include wages. You can see our recommended wages here. When you have approved the advert content, it will go live and we will start the recruitment drive.

5. Attracting Candidates to Your Job

Snap Care is known in the industry as the specialist agency and candidates regularly check the Snap Care website for new jobs. We will place your vacancy on premium job boards at no extra cost and promote your vacancy through our social media platforms. Your job advert will be distributed to targeted candidates on our extensive database, built up since 2001 and sent to selected candidates with internal marketing campaigns.

6. Extensive Searches

Your designated recruiter will carry out extensive searches both externally and through Snap Care contacts and networks. They will long and shortlist applications and then interview potentially suitable candidates. We will verify the candidate's right to work, documents, ID and start reference checks (We obtain written references which are then verbally verified).

7. Sending Candidate Details

Once we have identified & interviewed suitable candidates, we will send you their full details. This includes their CV, interview comments, candidate photo and references we have obtained. We will send as many suitable applicants as we have identified; we don't hold back any candidates and equally, we won't send candidates to 'make up the numbers'. It may be 2, 3 or 4 candidates, or only 1.

8. Arranging Interviews

If you also like the candidate, we can coordinate interviews, but we do encourage you to facilitate this as soon as you can; good candidates do not hang around for long! Typically, the first interviews are online or by phone, and the second interviews are in person. We encourage you to have a trial prior to making a job offer. It is usual to pay individuals for trial days at the advertised hourly rate. Most of our clients find a half or one-day trial is sufficient, we would not recommend longer than 2 days.

9. Offering the Job

You may wish to offer the candidate the job directly, or we are happy to do so on your behalf.  If the candidate is not quite right, you can discuss this yourself with the candidate, or if you prefer, we will pass on your feedback. We will continue searching, and we are happy to do this, having the wrong person can be worse than having no one!

10. DBS (Police Check)

If your selected candidate is not on the Update Service for the DBS, we will process and pay for a new enhanced DBS. We also pay for the first year of the candidate's Update Service to ensure their DBS status can be confirmed at any time.

11. Draft Contact & Payroll Information

Snap Care has had a long association with the payroll company Nannytax/Stafftax and is a member of their 'Agency+' service.  As a member, we can help support clients and candidates with employment law inquiries they may have. For example, enquiries such as holiday entitlement and statutory sick pay as well as support and advice on Employer and Employee rights. We will provide a draft contract of employment if you do not have your own.

12.  Placement Checklist

We will send a Placement Checklist to you to confirm what information we have for the candidate, including ID documents that have been verified (either in person or most often, by TrustId, a government-approved certified Identity Service Provider) and references received. We will update you on any outstanding items.

13. After Placement Support

Your designated recruiter will contact you when the candidate has just started to see how they are settling in, then after a couple of weeks and lastly after about 3 months. Our involvement then drops back, but we will be very happy to hear from you if you have any questions or just to let us know how things are going, at any point.
