1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- “Employer” means the company or organisation engaging Snap Care to provide the Shortlist Service.
- “Candidate” means an individual introduced by Snap Care to an Employer as a potential worker through the Shortlist Service.
- “Service” means the Candidate shortlisting, screening and introduction service provided under these Terms.
2. Introduction & Service
Snap Care provides a candidate shortlisting service only. Snap Care does not employ Candidates, and any contract of employment or engagement is made directly between the Employer and the Candidate. The Employer is fully responsible for all employment obligations, including tax, national insurance and right‑to‑work compliance.
3. Engagement of the Service
3.1 Snap Care will commence the Service once the Employer provides a written brief and advert details approved by both parties.
3.2 The Employer confirms acceptance of these Terms by instructing Snap Care in writing.
3.3 The Service comprises screening Candidates to meet agreed essential criteria and sending a shortlist of suitable Candidates.
4. Shortlist Service Deliverables
4.1 The shortlist will contain CVs and screening summaries for candidates who meet the agreed criteria.
4.2 Snap Care will verify right‑to‑work status using UK passport or share code. Where applicable, Snap Care will flag candidates requiring sponsorship for Employer consideration.
5. Employer Obligations
5.1 The Employer is responsible for all pre‑employment checks, including identity verification, DBS checks, references, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
5.2 The Employer agrees to contact shortlisted Candidates promptly and oversee all interviews and hiring decisions.
6. Fees & Payment
6.1 The fee for each successful placement is £900 + VAT, payable when the Employer offers a Candidate a position and the Candidate accepts.
6.2 Fees are subject to VAT where applicable.
6.3 Invoicing will occur on offer acceptance. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date or before the Candidate starts, whichever is sooner.
7. Volume Discount Structure
7.1 Employers recruiting multiple Candidates within a three‑month period may qualify for discounted rates:
- 1–2 hires: £900 per hire
- 3–5 hires: £800 per hire
- 6+ hires: £700 per hire
8. Guarantee & Replacement
8.1 Each placement comes with a 30‑day replacement guarantee if the placement fails through no fault of the Employer.
8.2 To trigger the guarantee, the Employer must notify Snap Care in writing within five working days of the placement ending. Snap Care will re‑run the Shortlist Service at no additional cost.
9. Candidate Introduction & Confidentiality
9.1 Candidate details shared by Snap Care must be treated confidentially.
9.2 The Employer must not share or introduce Candidates to third parties without Snap Care’s written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Snap Care makes reasonable efforts to ensure candidate suitability, but does not warrant history, character, capability or fit for specific roles.
10.2 Snap Care is not liable for loss or damage arising from Candidate introductions.
11. Data Protection & GDPR
11.1 Snap Care processes personal data in accordance with GDPR. Candidate information shared with the Employer becomes their responsibility for secure and compliant handling.
11.2 The Employer will dispose of Candidate data of individuals not hired in compliance with GDPR regulations.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
13. Changes to Terms
Snap Care may update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be effective upon publication and engagement of the Service constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
