Conference: Ashton's Legal

Recruitment Costs, talk Ashton's Conference

I was delighted to be asked to be a guest speaker at Ashton's Legal conference on 8th November.

I discussed recruitment costs and was delighted to hear feedback afterwards that the information and tips were really useful! It was a great day with some brilliant speakers.

One of the highlights for me was hearing the parental perspective from Laura Walker and her case manager Sarah Pressley rom Bush and Co reminding us all why we do the work we do. As usual a wonderful opportunity to catch up with people we work with and meet lots of new professionals.

Andrew and I spent such a fun day in Manchester at KIDZ to ADULTZ up North, the largest FREE exhibition dedicated to children and young adults up to 25 years with disabilities, their families, carers and professionals.

There was a ton going on; useful information on educational needs, schools and colleges, solicitors giving invaluable info (thanks a mil to Irwin Mitchel and Knights Solicitors!).

Mobiloo VanWe were excited to see MobiLoo and Jade, Spiderman and Belleblown away by sheer number of great mobility stands!

We were kept busy ourselves meeting so many visitors to our stand - including Belle and Spiderman of course!  Such a friendly environment with lots of information; Snap can’t wait till the next one! Jade, Snap Care

Family-Focused Tailored Early Interventions
Tailored Interventions for children, adolescents and families presenting with emotional, relational, behavioural
and/or developmental difficulties.

Milestones Matter create tailored interventions to help families overcome difficulties.

  • Do you have children (3-18) presenting with emotional, behavioural and / or developmental difficulties?
  • Is your family experiencing child/adolescent to parent abuse?
  • Or are you a family with multiple children supported by several members of staff in need of planning, strategies and supervision?
  • Are you an adoptive family struggling with attachment and family’s dynamics?

I have worked for nearly 20 years in the field of intervention and my approach is highly individualised to meet each family’s needs and beliefs; each family is unique and therefore each intervention need to be tailored specifically around the family’s specifics needs.

25th Year Celebrations!

Sally and Andrew, directors at Snap, were delighted to be asked to join the Nannytax team for an evening to celebrate their 25th anniversary, in the iconic Shard building on the 15th of this month.

The evening was an opportunity to meet fellow professionals and to reflect on how far the company has developed over the years, always seeking to improve and expand their services. One of their newer services for example is for Automatic Enrollment for the Workplace Pension, which all employers have to offer their employees.

Andrew and Sally from Snap at the Shard
Snap have been working with Nannytax from when we first started back in 2001, when we were both considerably smaller! They provide a valuable service to families, employers and agencies, but have also campaigned for nannies to be recognised within a professional arena.
