Up to £16.00 gross per hour, Part time (30 hours)  Support Worker required for Emma aged 10 with complex medical needs.  Excellent training available.

Preferable: Tracheostomy care, JEJ, PEG, suctioning, manual handing

Start Date:ASAP
Days & Hours:  Tuesday 7.00 am - 10.00 am and 4.00pm - 7.30pm, Thursday 7.30 am - 7.30 pm, Alternate Saturday and Sunday, 7.30am – 7.30pm, 30 hours on average 
Accommodation: Family can provide accommodation if needed

Emma 10, is an adorable girl who likes sensory play, listening to stories, baking and listening to music. Emma has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, is visually impaired, non-verbal and has significant complex medical needs. Emma’s feeding and medication are administered through JEJ and PEG, she requires suctioning and has 2:1 care, 24/7. We are looking for a kind and resilient *female support worker who will assist Emma at the weekends, working alongside a second support worker.

You will be responsible for supporting Emma by providing personal care, following recommended therapy techniques, monitoring her health, engage Emma in age appropriate activities and assist with all aspects of her daily routine

This job will suit an empathetic, caring,  kind and competent  candidate who enjoys working within a family home and providing 2:1 support. You will need to be a team player and be genuinely interested in supporting children with complex medical needs.  A truly rewarding position and opportunity to work with this lovely little girl and her dedicated team. All training will be provided.
