Bespoke Childcare

SEN Nannies and Specialist Childcare for Your Child

At Snap Care, we know that finding the right person to support your child with additional needs or a disability is deeply personal. We’ve been doing this for over 20 years, and for us, it started at home.

Snap Care was founded by Andrew Knight, whose daughter Camilla was born with cerebral palsy, and Sally Britton, a highly experienced SEN Nanny. Together, they shared a vision: to help families find trusted, professional individuals who truly understand the unique challenges and rewards of supporting a child with additional needs in the family home.

Experienced, Dedicated SEN Nannies

Our SEN nannies – including Mannies (male nannies) – have chosen to work with children with disabilities. It’s not just their experience that matters, but their motivation. Many come from backgrounds in education, therapy or healthcare, and all are selected for their compassion, creativity, and commitment to making a positive difference.

Our childcare professionals have supported children with:

  • Autism, ADHD, and sensory processing difficulties
  • Complex medical needs, such as PEG feeding or seizures
  • Learning disabilities and developmental delays
  • Non-verbal communication or limited/delayed speech
  • Physical disabilities and mobility needs
  • Challenging behaviours and emotional regulation
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs

Tailored to Your Family

We don’t just send CVs. We take time to understand your child’s personality, needs, routine and goals, and introduce only candidates who are a genuine match. Whether you need:

  • A full-time or part-time SEN nanny
  • Someone to support during holidays or weekends
  • A live-in role, rota schedule or international travel

—We’ll shape our search to fit your life and family.

Support Beyond Childcare

An SEN nanny is more than just a carer – they’re a champion for your child. They’ll help build independence, boost confidence, support communication, and make each day more engaging and meaningful.
