A wonderful opportunity is now available to join a dedicated care team providing support to a little boy with complex needs. Benjamin 8 is a busy bee who enjoys a range of activities, he loves watching Mickey Mouse and being out and about. Benjamin has Total Body Dystonia which effects all areas of his development. He is a wheelchair user, requires support with all his care needs and uses a hoist for transfers. Benjamin lives at home with his Mummy and 3 brothers; he loves spending time with his family.
Benjamin requires 2:1 support throughout the day, and 1:1 support to assist with his night time routine. The role will involve providing hands on care for Benjamin and tending to all his needs through-out the night, including personal care, implementing therapy programs provided by his team of therapists, which you will be trained to deliver and assisting with light household duties related to Benjamin.
This is a busy family home so it is ‘all hands on deck’ when needed! We are looking for confident support workers with excellent communication skills.
If you would like the opportunity to join Benjamin’s team, please apply today and Snap will be in touch to discuss your application in greater detail.
Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
