An exciting and rewarding opportunity is now available to lead a home care team in the Hertfordshire area. Our client Josh 13, lives at home with his Mum and Dad who currently tend to all his care needs. We are recruiting a full care team to provide 24/7 support and we require an experienced team leader to manage, supervise and lead a new care team.
Josh is a bundle of energy and always on the go! He loves football, tennis, computer games and music. He has mild cerebral palsy, brittle epilepsy and a visual impairment. Josh also has learning delay. Although he has complex needs and requires 1:1 support, he is full of adventure and loves creating mischief!
In this position you’ll provide hands on support to Josh and will have allocated hours set aside each week to complete all admin and team leader duties such as organising and completing rota’s, training, supervisions, managing ordering of required supplies and liaising with Josh’s parents, treating therapist and other healthcare professionals.
For this role you must have experience supporting a client with epilepsy and ideally childcare experience. It is essential you are a confident driver, swimmer and non-smoker. We can only consider applicants who have previously worked in a senior role.
This is an exciting time for Josh and his family and an excellent opportunity for you to gain more experience and expand your own skillset. If you wish to be considered for this post, please apply with your updated CV, Jade from Snap will then be in touch to discuss the next steps.
Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
