Up to £16.00 gross per hour. Full and part-time positions available on a care package in the BR7 area supporting a 6 year old with cerebral palsy. Permanent contract.

Sofia 6, is an engaging, fun-loving little girl who is looking for a pro-active, fun and passionate Female* support workers to join her new care package. Sofia has cerebral palsy, enjoys eating delicious blended food and has a peg for her medications or blended diet if she is feeling too tired to eat. She requires support to meet all of her care needs and at certain times during the day will require 2:1 support.

This role will involve assisting Sofia with all aspect of her daily routine and care plan including personal care, accessing fun, educational social activities and implementing therapies under the guidance of her therapists. A confident driver is essential as you’ll be required to complete school runs.

 We want to ensure Sofia’s independence is continually promoted and that she is enabled to reach her full potential. Experience supporting a child with similar needs such as cerebral palsy and Peg feeding is desirable however training is provided.

This job will suit a confident, happy and friendly support workers who have the ability to work on their own initiative but also comfortable working alongside Mum and other team members.

**Shift pattern: Term-time Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 10:30am and 2:30pm – 7:00pm | Weekends: Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am – 4:00pm | School Holidays: 6:00am – 12:30 and 12:30 – 7:00pm. After school shifts are 2:1 care plus 5 hours during school holiday days.
