Mixture of day, night and weekends shifts are now available on a small but busy home care package providing 24/7 support to Aaron. Aaron is 9 years old and lives at home with his Mummy, Daddy and younger brother and sister. He has cerebral palsy, complex medical needs and is a wheelchair user. Aaron requires support to meet all of his care needs. He is a pleasure to work with, he loves sensory activities and playing games with his siblings.
In this position you will provide 1:1 support to Aaron tend to all his care needs including assisting with all aspects of personal care and hygiene, implementing therapies, administering medication, replenishing / monitoring supplies, documenting and logging accurate information, providing written handovers to the other members of the support team and carrying out household duties relating to Aaron. You’ll monitor his health needs, paying close attention to respiratory changes or swallowing issues.
Aaron needs outgoing, fun and caring support workers who enjoy planning and taking part in educational and exciting activities. Ideally you’ll be willing to travel with Aaron on family trips in the UK during school holidays.
*Shift pattern: Term time: Monday to Friday: 4:00pm – 10:00pm Weekends and School holidays: 8:30am – 8:00pm Waking Nights: 10:00pm – 8:30am
