Key Information
· Job Title: Specialist Companion / Mentor
· Pay: Highly competitive tax-free package, negotiable based on experience

· Start Date: ASAP
· Hours and Days of Work: Six days per week, up to 12 hours per day. Weekdays typically start around 8:00 AM with breaks during the day, finishing around 9:00 PM. Longer hours may be required over weekends and holiday periods.
· Essential Experience: Previous experience supporting neurodivergent young people or individuals with additional learning needs. Confident in encouraging independence, life skills, and social development whilst maintaining clear and appropriate professional boundaries. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust while remaining consistent and structured. Valid passport and happy to travel with family. *This role is open to female applicants only.
· Desirable: Experience in academic coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or study skills support is highly advantageous. Previous experience within a private, fully staffed household or supporting high-profile clients would be beneficial.

Zara, 19, is a warm, friendly young woman who enjoys dining out, escape rooms and social media. She has additional learning needs and is preparing for an exciting new chapter as she transitions into college and greater independence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mature, emotionally intelligent professional who can become a trusted mentor, encouraging Zara to develop her confidence, organisation, study skills and independence without creating dependency. You will help her navigate college life, build practical life skills and feel confident in new social and academic situations.
The role would suit someone with experience supporting young people with neurodivergence or additional learning needs, particularly those with strong mentoring, tutoring or academic coaching skills. In return, you will join a welcoming, fully staffed household with private accommodation, medical insurance, annual flights home, a private driver, meals when on duty and opportunities to travel with the family.
