Specialist Companion / Mentor in Riyadh. A fantastic opportunity for a compassionate, energetic, and highly capable professional to support a 19-year-old young woman as she transitions confidently into college and greater independence.

  • Salary/Wage: Highly competitive tax-free package, negotiable based on experience
  • Driving Requirements: No, a driver will be available
  • Essential: Previous experience supporting neurodivergent young people or individuals with additional learning needs. Confident in encouraging independence, life skills, and social development whilst maintaining clear and appropriate professional boundaries. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust while remaining consistent and structured. Valid passport and happy to travel with family. *This role is open to female applicants only.
  • Desirable: Experience in academic coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or study skills support is highly advantageous. Previous experience within a private, fully staffed household or supporting high-profile clients would be beneficial.
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Days & Hours: Six days per week, up to 12 hours per day. Weekdays typically start around 8:00am with breaks during the day, finishing around 9:00pm. Longer hours may be required over weekends and holiday periods.

About the Client/Child We are seeking an exceptional Specialist Companion / Personal Assistant to support Zara, a warm and friendly 19-year-old as she transitions into college life and greater independence. Zara enjoys dining out, escape rooms, and social media. She will flourish from structured, patient support to strengthen her confidence, study, and day-to-day organizational skills. She benefits from guided practice in areas such as reading comprehension, numerical reasoning, and complex problem-solving, and thrives with clear structure, encouragement, and repetition. The family are seeking a mature, patient female companion who can help Zara develop the practical skills and independence needed to succeed at college and into adult life.

The Role at a Glance This rewarding role focuses on supporting Zara’s transition into college and adulthood. Acting as her mentor, you will help her manage routines, organise schedules, develop study habits, and build confidence in both academic and social settings. You will provide guidance in planning, breaking tasks into manageable steps, reviewing instructions, and developing effective organisational systems, whilst encouraging independence rather than dependency. You will also support Zara’s social development, helping her navigate college expectations, build confidence in social situations, and access appropriate support when needed. Working closely with the family, tutors, professors, and specialists, you will ensure a consistent approach that promotes both personal growth and academic success.

This Job Would Suit A patient, organised, and emotionally intelligent *female professional with experience supporting young adults with learning differences, executive functioning challenges, neurodivergence, and/or additional educational needs. Experience in academic coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or study skills support is highly advantageous. Strong communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to build trust whilst maintaining appropriate boundaries are essential.
