About this Child: James is an intellectually gifted and thoughtful 6-year-old with a very high IQ. He enjoys chess, Lego, imaginative play, time in nature, wall climbing, and gymnastics. He is extremely curious and asks complex questions—some of which even adults may not immediately know the answers to. James benefits from structured support in social communication, emotional regulation, and confidence-building, and he currently receives homeschooling support. He also engages in therapeutic interventions, including Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy. The right candidate will be able to creatively implement these strategies, integrating them into everyday activities and play to help James thrive. James responds best in a supportive, relationally safe environment where skill-building is woven naturally into daily routines and enjoyable activities.

The Role at a Glance: This part-time role involves providing engaging, therapy-informed support to James in a stimulating and safe environment. You will implement OT and/or SLT strategies in practical, everyday settings, support social communication and emotional regulation through interactive activities, and collaborate with the family and existing home-schooling structure to reinforce learning and development. Creativity and flexibility are essential, as you will be weaving skill-building seamlessly into play, hobbies, and daily life. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys intellectual challenge and the opportunity to apply therapeutic approaches in a real-world, home-based context.

This Job Would Suit: This role is perfect for an enthusiastic and experienced individual, male or female, living in Dubai, with a background in Special Educational Needs, therapy-based education, or related disciplines. Candidates should be confident in implementing OT and SLT strategies, enjoy creative problem-solving, and thrive when engaging a gifted child’s curiosity, intellect, and emotions.

Why You’ll Love This Role: You will have the opportunity to work within a home-schooling environment that allows professional creativity in therapy and education. You will make a meaningful difference in a highly supportive family setting, enjoy flexible hours for the right candidate, and engage in stimulating activities that combine play, learning, and skill-building. The role offers both intellectual and professional challenge, allowing you to help James reach his full potential while applying your skills in innovative and rewarding ways.

Recruitment Process: Snap Care manages the full recruitment process, including candidate shortlisting, recruiter interviews, and arranging employer interviews.
