Care Team Leader, Romford, RM2. Are you an experienced Senior / Deputy or Team Leader with a passion for making a real difference in the life of a young person with SEN, this is the role for you! Part-time: £27,248.00 + Gross per Annum  

Nearest Tube/Station: Gidea Park Railway Station (15 mins walk to family home)
Wage/Salary: £27,248.00 per Annum. £20.00 weekdays | £22.00 Weekends. All figures quoted in gross per hour / annum
Driver Essential? Yes, WAV for use (automatic drive) on duty
Essential: Experience in a senior / managerial role within health and social care. Experience supporting children with additional needs / neurodivergent (ideally neurological injury or brain injury).
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 2 weekday shifts: 4.00pm – 8.00pm, and alternate weekends, Saturday, and Sunday: 8.00am – 8.00pm. Weekday shifts during school holidays: 3.00pm – 7.00pm.  5 hours of admin allocated each week.

About this client: Archie is 12 years old, he is gregarious, charming, energetic, and a happy young chap with a love for gaming, dancing, swimming, playing with his tractors, and watching Disney movies to name a few. He loves life, strives for his independence, and currently has a small, dedicated team of (4) SEN Support Workers providing the extra support he requires. Archie is at the heart of a loving and supportive family (Mum, Dad, and his younger brother), this is a busy, happy, and welcoming family home. Archie is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and ADHD. He is mobile and uses his wheelchair for longer journeys, and uses an iPad, sounds and gestures to support his communication, and is making excellent progress.

Overview of role: The Care Team Leader will lead a small team and work closely with multidisciplinary teams and Archie’s parents, follow and co-ordinate care plans, training, supervise, complete appraisals/supervisions with all team members, organise Rota’s etc. It is a dynamic position offering the perfect balance; continue delivering hands-on, meaningful support while stepping confidently into a leadership position. The shift times above are the hours you will work on a 2:1 or 1:1 basis with Archie, the admin hours are worked in your own time, remotely or on site, as and when required.
