Essential: Experience supporting a client with learning disabilities. Swimmer essential.

Days & Hours: Shifts available: Wednesday 12 midday - 8.00pm Thursday 3.00pm - 8.00pm Saturday 12 midday - 8.00pm OR 4.00pm - 8.00pm and Sunday 12 midday - 4.00pm. Part-time, flexible hours available. Will consider job share, please get in touch with your availability.

A fantastic position is now available for an outgoing, reliable and trustworthy support worker / PA. Emily, 24, is a very sociable young lady with a significant learning disability; she requires support to access the community and take part in activities she enjoys. A real shopaholic, Emily loves everything girly and is known to frequently changing her hair colour!
Your role will involve supporting Emily both in the family home and out in the community, enabling her to live as full a life as possible and most importantly promoting her independence. Emily like to keep busy with activities such as swimming, going to the gym, cycling and trips to the local pub, as well as family holidays to Devon and Spain so you’ll need to be willing to travel and partake in similar hobbies. You’ll be confident assisting with personal care and encouraging Emily to eat healthy and nutritious meals.
This job will suit an energetic, fun and sensitive support worker who is interested in working with young adults. Someone who can work well with Emily’s current team and family, and a swimmer is essential.
