£12.00 Gross per Hour! Enthusiastic, motivated and flexible Support Worker to work with 7 year old Jamie in Wimslow, Cheshire.

Nearest Train / Tube Station: Wilmslow Station.
Wage / Salary: £12.00 gross per hour weekdays | £13.00 gross per hour weekend and Double pay on bank holidays
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? Essential
Essential Experience: Supporting a client in a family setting. Supporting Children. Desirable to have experience supporting children with cerebral palsy
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Term time: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:00pm – 8:00pm. Some additional hours may be available on weekends and during School Holidays.

Jamie 7, lives at home with Mum, Dad and his two older sisters. He is a social little boy who enjoys spending time with people and getting involved in all activities. Jamie has cerebral palsy and requires assistance with all his care needs and close supervision, especially during meal times. 

This position will involve supporting Jamie in the family home and out in the community with personal care, implementing his therapy programme, working alongside his MDT and most importantly organising fun, educational activities Jamie can enjoy. We are looking for a Support Worker who will promote independence whilst motivating and encouraging Jamie to reach his full potential.

The ideal candidate will be honest and committed with a caring and creative nature who has a real passion for supporting children with additional needs. We need someone who is reliable and who is flexible, but who is keen to put Jamie’s needs first.

Employment is subject to the return of an Enhanced DBS, two satisfactory references, eligibility to work in the UK and completion of a 6 month probation period.
