Days & Hours:25 hours, Monday – Friday 3.30pm – 8.30pm
Simon aged 4 is an energetic character who enjoys outdoor activities, physical play and engages in lots of repetitive behaviour. Simon has ASC, he is non-verbal but he is learning Makaton and starts to use his speech in a functional way. He can occasionally present with challenging behaviour. Simon has no sense of danger and likes to climb and run very fast, he needs to be under constant supervision.
Ben is 7 and is very sweet and affectionate. He loves imaginative play, making up stories and reading. He likes arts and crafts, playing with Lego and he enjoys learning.
We are seeking a live in SEN nanny who can respond appropriately to different needs of both children, who can build a caring relationship with the brothers while setting up clear boundaries and routines. You will need extensive experience with children with autism and speech delay, but mum is very happy to provide training of strategies they are using to help both boys to reach their full potential.
Your role will be to assist with after school routine, cook nutritious meals for the children, nursery duties and having lots of fun with both boys.
