Wage:£13.00 gross per hour weekdays and £15.00 gross per hour weekends

Essential:Supporting a young person with additional needs, working in a family home environment
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 14 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 4.00pm to 7.00pm and Saturday 10.00am to 3.00pm. Days can be flexible for the right candidate

About this client/child:
Nina, 10 is a charming and active young lady who would like to pursue her dream of horse riding. Nina loves animals and horses in particular. She enjoys swimming, dancing, baking and playing with her siblings. Nina has a brain injury which results in a weakness on one side of her body. She is independently mobile but needs supervison as she doesn’t have any awareness of risk or danger.
Overview of role:
We are looking for a friendly and motivated female* Support Worker to assist Nina with building her independence and confidence. Nina requires support with personal care, supervision to ensure her safety, and assistance to carry out therapy programmes. You will also encourage and accompany Nina on a variety of activities and explore new opportunities to have fun.
