Days & Hours: 4 waking nights per week (48 hours per week) , part time positions available, day shifts available
Emma 10, is an adorable girl who likes sensory play, listening to stories, baking and listening to music. Emma has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, is visually impaired, non-verbal and has significant complex medical needs. Emma’s feeding and medication are administered through JEJ and PEG, she requires suctioning and has 2:1 care, 24/7.
We are seeking a kind and sensitive *female waking night carer to join Emma’s team and provide 2:1 support throughout the night. You will be working alongside second carer, provide all aspects of personal care, administer medication and feed via PEG and JEJ, and monitor Emma’s health.
This job will suit an empathetic, caring and kind candidate who enjoys working within a family home and providing 2:1 support. You will need to be a team player and be genuinely interested in supporting children with complex medical needs. A truly rewarding position and opportunity to work with this fantastic girl and her dedicated team. All training will be provided.
