About this client/child:
Thomas, 18, is a sporty and active young man who enjoys any outdoor activities, particularly swimming, running and horse riding. Thomas has diagnosis of autism, he has processing sensory disorder and epilepsy. Thomas is non-verbal but can express his likes and dislikes, he communicates with gestures and cards. He requires assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily activities and social skills. 

Overview of role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated candidate to support Thomas with his daily routine. Thomas has home education program, and you will be required to assist him to access his learning and achieve his set targets. You will be required to provide personal care, administer medication and assist Thomas with all daily tasks.
All training will be provided, and you will be supported by Thomas’s therapists and family. You need to be fit and strong and vigilant to ensure Thomas’s safety at all times. 37 hours per week, mixture of weekdays and weekends shifts, working typically one full weekend per month. Overtime available. Shifts are split into following times8.00am to 2.30pm,  2.00pm to 8.00pm  or 9.00am to 5.00pm. The hourly rate is £12.00 - £15.00 gross per hour depending on experience.
