An exciting opportunity is available for an ambitious Occupational Therapist case manager to develop their skills and knowledge in this interesting and varied field. Our client is a thriving case management company working with children and adults with acquired / traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, limb loss, and dementia and polytrauma across London and the South East. Case Management is a challenging but extremely rewarding role and is both varied and collaborative. A case manager is responsible for meeting each client’s individual’s needs from assessing rehabilitation needs, recruitment and managing care packages to supporting families through the litigation process.
This company is looking for an experienced OT to join their dynamic team, you’ll have support, guidance and training from the clinical lead tailored to your level of experience and knowledge. You’ll provide ongoing case management support to the client, their family and care team, liaise with therapists, medical practitioners, solicitors, social services, etc. Most importantly you will act as an advocate for your client and ensure they are receiving the right support in all aspects of their care plan.
This is a client-facing role so you must be a people person, have an engaging personality, and be extremely resilient, tenacious and confident working independently. Excellent communication, IT and written skills are essential. Also essential is a driver’s license and own car; the position requires you to travel to clients homes and to various appointments.
You’ll be a self-employed consultant working for this company managing a caseload of clients. Hours are flexible within reason however the position will require full-time availability.
