Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Alternate Saturdays: 10.30am - 8.00pm and alternate Sundays: 6.45am - 2.00pm

About this client/child:
Our lovely client Lily is 8 years old, an engaging, mischievous, and funny little girl who loves imaginary and creative play, baking, watching Horrid Henry and giggle quiz. She has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. She has a visual impairment, epilepsy, and communication difficulties. Lily is looking for a fun and bubbly support worker to join her team and provide 1:1 support.

Overview of role:
In this role, you will support Lily to access and take part in activities at home and out and about in the community. You will assist with all aspects of her care plan,  play and learning, personal care needs, including feeding, explore new interests and hobbies, and implement therapy programmes under the guidance of her therapists. This is a weekend position, working one weekend on/off. Additional hours available. 

Who this job would suit:
An outgoing, bubbly, energetic and fun *female Support Worker who has the availability to make a long-term commitment to Lily. For this role, you must have previous experience supporting a young client with a physical disability and be a confident driver.

This is a fun role, you will have the opportunity to be out and about, exploring new interests with Lily and really making the most of her weekends! You will also have the opportunity to learn new skills and work with experienced therapists and have ongoing supervision from Lily’s case manager.
