About the Client
Rosie (12) is an outgoing, bright, sociable, and determined young lady with a love for Harry Potter, Frame Running, Tesla’s, languages, and going to the cinema. Rosie lives with her Mummy, Daddy and younger brother; a close-knit unit that values quality family time. Rosie is diagnosed with dyskinetic cerebral palsy, dysarthria, although very capable of communicating verbally, and experiences involuntary movements particularly with her arms and hands. She is mobile (high knee crawl) and uses her wheelchair as and when required.
The Role at a Glance
Responsible for managing this small care team, fostering a supportive ethos, and ensuring all aspects of Rosie’s care plan are regularly reviewed, remain current and are implemented consistently. Admin hours are set aside each week to enable you to complete administrative tasks such as updating care plans, completing staff supervisions/ appraisals, monthly team meetings, and managing stocks (general supplies and medication). There will be 15 hours supporting Rosie on a 1:1 basis and 10 hours admin duties off site. There are two weekends per month, and one afterschool shift available. This Job Would Suit
A confident, experienced Senior Support Worker, with excellent communication skills and a great sense of humour. For this role it is essential that you are a confident driver with a full clean driving licence.
