Live-in Nanny, St. Albans, AL4. Live-in Nanny role caring for a creative, energetic, sweet and busy 4-year-old with a love for imaginative play, songs and rhymes and sensory activities. Up to £45,000.00 Gross per Annum (DOE)

Nearest Tube/Station: Smallford Railway or St Albans City Railway
Wage/Salary: £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 Gross per Annum, Depending on Experience.
Driver Essential? Not applicable 
Essential: Experienced Nanny / PA, excellent early years development experience, non-smoker / vaper. This position is open to *female applicants only.
Desirable: Brain Injury experience, proxy parenting, fluent in Romanian, Bulgarian or Polish 
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: A maximum of 60 hours per week worked over 4 or 5 days. Rota is provided 5 months in advance. Involves working Saturdays.

About this client: Elsa, 4, is an adorable, inquisitive and happy little girl living in St Albans with her Mummy and Daddy. She loves to play with dolls, sing and dance, go to local play parks and soft play. Elsa is a bright little girl, she loves to learn and is bilingual (English and Romanian). Elsa is currently attending preschool and is very excited to start big school in September.  Elsa is neurotypical, Snap Care is involved with recruiting a Nanny, due to her Mummy sustaining a Traumatic Brain Injury 2 years ago; this role is unique and further information available on application.

Overview of role: Elsa’s Nanny will be responsible for all childcare duties whilst her Dad is at work, and cook nutritious meals, manage household duties, and support Dad with general life admin and running the family home.  Training and guidance provided by professionals for the Nanny to support and foster Elsa and her Mummy’s relationship and bond. This role requires a level of flexibility, and you must have a valid passport and be happy to travel internationally with the family. This is a full-time, permanent live-in role.

Who this job would suit: A dedicated, empathetic and experienced Nanny, you will be intuitive, caring and resilient. You will have strong organisation and communication skills. Highly desirable for the Nanny to be a driver, with their own car (mileage paid), and an extra bonus if you speak Romanian.
