If we haven't worked with you before, we like to have an initial conversation so we can explain how we work and also understand how you do.  Our consultants are approachable, professional and knowledgeable and will be pleased to answer any questions you have. 1. Complete a Vacancy Registration Form

To start the process, we ask you to complete a vacancy registration form. We work with many case managers and will ensure we understand how you like to work with each individual client from the start of the recruitment drive. This will include who is sent information, copied in to email and forms of communication. 

2. Home Visit:

Once we have your registration form, we will arrange to come and meet the client and hopefully you too! (for all permanent positions, throughout the UK). This is a really important part of our service; we know that for really successful placements, we need to match on personality fit just as much as experience. There is no charge for a home visit - just an understanding that you are committed to using our services.

3. Job Description and Costs:

Following our visit, we will send you a job description and costs. Once we have your approval, we will get started on our search.

4. Attracting Candidates to Your Job:

Snap are known in the industry as the specialist agency and candidates regularly check our website for new jobs. We will place additional adverts as appropriate at no extra cost. Your job advert will be distributed to targeted candidates on our extensive database, built up since 2001. We always have a number of candidates who we are actively working with to find work.

5. Sending Candidate Details: 

Once we have identified & interviewed potential candidates, we will send you their full details. We will send as many suitable applicants as we have identified, we don't hold back any candidates. Equally we won't send anyone unless we really feel they are an appropriate match. It may be 2 or 3 candidates, or only 1.

6. Arranging Interviews:

If you also like the candidates, we'll coordinate interviews, but we do encourage you to do this as soon as you can; good candidates don't hang for around! You may wish to arrange a trial or 2nd interview for candidates you feel are potentially a good fit. It is usual to pay individuals for 2nd interviews / trials.

7. Offering the Job

You may wish to offer the candidate the job directly or we are happy to do so on your behalf.  If they are not quite right, just give us your feedback and we'll continue searching - we are happy to do this, having the wrong person is worse than having no-one!

8. Draft Contact & Payroll Information:

Snap have had a long association with Nannytax / Stafftax and are a member of their unique service for nanny agencies 'Agency+'.  As a member we can help support clients and candidates with employment law inquiries they may have. For example complex contractual inquiries such as holiday entitlement and statutory sick pay as well as support and advice on Employer and Employee rights. 

We appreciate case manager companies / solicitors use their own contracts. If there are circumstances where this is not the case, we can provide a draft contract of employment. 

9. After Placement Support:

We will contact you to see how everything is going; when the candidate has just started to see how they are settling in, then after a couple of weeks and lastly after 3 months. Our involvement then drops back, but will be very happy to hear from you if you have any questions or just to let us know how things are going at any point.
