About this client/child:
Macy is 22 years old; she lives at home with her family in Wombourne and has a full support team in place to enable her to live independently. Macy is a whirlwind, she loves life and makes the most of it! Macy has Dyskinetic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, as a result, she is a wheelchair user and requires support to meet all her needs. A true girly girl who loves to be pampered, spend time shopping, listening to music, and watching her favourite TV shows such as Friends and Sister Sister!
Overview of role:
The Support Worker will provide hands-on 1:1 practical care and support to Macy, following her care plan, assisting with personal care, administering medication, feeding (pureed diet), therapy, moving and handling/hoisting, participating in activities, accessing the community, going to events.
This is a great position for an LSA/TA or Student or even an experienced Support Worker looking for additional weekend hours. The rota is provided up to 4 months in advance and there are bank shifts available if you are interested in picking up additional hours (days and occasional nights) some weeks.

An energetic, positive, friendly, and outgoing Support Worker with a great attitude, keen to learn, and happy to muck in as and when needed. An experienced Support Worker with excellent communication skills and a true passion for their role. For this role, you must be confident driving an adapted, automatic vehicle.
