Up to £15.00 Gross per Hour. Weekend Support Worker position now available supporting an endearing and charming 14-year-old with mild cerebral palsy and autism.

Wage / Salary: £13.00 weekdays, £15.00 weekends | gross per hour
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty, automatic drive
Essential: Experience supporting a client with additional needs, must live within 10 -15 miles of TN6.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Alternate Weekends: Saturdays 9.00am – 6.30pm | Sundays: 10.00am - 6.00pm and additional hours available midweek Tuesday 6.30pm – 10.30pm. Happy to consider a job share, please get in touch with your availability.

Our client Tom is a delightful 14-year-old with a great sense of humour and endearing gentle nature, he has mild cerebral palsy, autism and anxiety and requires 1:1 support. Tom enjoys swimming, yoga and playing football.  

We are seeking an enthusiastic but sensitive Support Worker(s) who can motivate and encourage Tom to reach his full potential through therapy and activity. You will provide reassurance and positive reinforcement for him to achieve. Tom requires assistance/prompting with some personal care, and light domestic duties will also be required.

Ideally, you will have worked with a child of this age or a little younger who has similar behavioural and sensory needs. You’ll be positive, energetic and have a sense of fun. A mature attitude and someone who can be sensitive to the needs of the whole family is essential.
