£14.00 - £16.00 Gross per Hour. Experienced Support Workers with complex medical experience to work with charming Ahmed, 8


Location: Marylebone, NW1
Nearest Train / Tube Station: Marylebone
Wage / Salary: £14.00 gross per hour weekdays | £16.00 gross per hour weekends
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty
Essential Experience: Suctioning, tube feeding, administrating oxygen and medication. Supporting a client within the home environment.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: On average 36.5 hour minimum per week. Day shifts 15:00 – 21:00 and waking nights 21:00 – 9.00am

Ahmed is a delightful little boy who enjoys gentle sensory stimulation, music and plenty of cuddles! Ahmed has complex medical needs and requires meticulous care. He has quadriplegia, severe dystonia, and has difficulty swallowing so suctioning is required. A Jejunostomy tube is in place, he requires oxygen on occasions and he has cortical visual impairment.

Ahmed requires 2 to 1 support at all times. Ahmed is unable to vocalise his specific needs, so you need to be sensitive and responsive to changes in facial expression and noises which may indicate his emotions. Ahmed is surrounded by his warm and loving family. He loves the attention of his siblings. Ahmed attends school which he loves; his care will be predominately in the family home. There may be occasions when you may travel with the family on holiday.

This role will suit someone who is dedicated, reliable and has a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
