Ahmed is a delightful little boy who enjoys gentle sensory stimulation, music and plenty of cuddles! Ahmed has complex medical needs and requires meticulous care. He has quadriplegia, severe dystonia, and has difficulty swallowing so suctioning is required. A Jejunostomy tube is in place, he requires oxygen on occasions and he has cortical visual impairment.
Ahmed requires 2 to 1 support at all times. Ahmed is unable to vocalise his specific needs, so you need to be sensitive and responsive to changes in facial expression and noises which may indicate his emotions. There may be occasions when you may travel with the family on holiday.
