Days & Hours: 37.5 hours available. Working on average 13 shifts per month. Day and Night Support. 12 hour shifts and occasional 6 hour shifts.

Sarah 20, is a social and engaging young lady and is surrounded by a loving family. Sarah sustained a traumatic brain injury following a road traffic accident as a result she requires 2:1 support, 24/7. A full-time position is now available on her care team so we are looking to recruit a reliable, proactive and patient support worker / carer.
Sarah is a strong willed person, she has worked incredible hard through her rehabilitation programme and is continuously making progress. Sarah is a wheelchair user, her speech is impaired and she receives all nutrition via a gastrostomy. In this role you will assist with each aspect of Sarah’s daily life, care plan and follow an intense rehabilitation programme. Sarah is living at home with her family in a fully adapted house.
This job will suit a supportive, caring and understanding support worker / carer who will ideally have experience working within a family home and supporting a client with the high level of needs Sarah has. Training is provided and will be ongoing. We are looking for a candidate who can commit to a full-time position on a long term basis.
