About this client:
Henry (6) is a bright, curious and chatty young lad who likes horses, playing with sticks, swimming, dinosaurs and singing and much more! He has a younger sister Lily (4) who is very excited about starting a big school in September. She enjoys reading and listening to stories and pretend play. Henry has Dravet syndrome and a diagnosis of Autism and ADHD. Henry’s seizures present as absences and are not very frequent. We are looking for a dedicated Nanny who will create a warm bond with both children and will support Henry to achieve his full potential.
Overview of role:
In this role you will be responsible for all daily nanny duties and tasks related to both children: school drop offs and pick-ups, meal preparation, any appointments related to children, light household duties and chores, organising stimulating and age-appropriate activities, and of course having lots of fun! You will support Henry with his speech development, implement different strategies to help him learn and progress, and support Lily with her transition from nursery to reception. The family have a lovely house in West Sussex where they spend every weekend. Ideally you will be happy to spend alternate weekends with the family and work Friday and Saturday night (on-call night). You will be free during the day and there is a pool, gym and beautiful views to enjoy when spending time there. This is not essential; the family can consider a second candidate for the nights. Days: Monday to Friday: Core hours: 7.30am to 8.00pm, alternate weekends in West Sussex (working the 2 on-call nights). On alternate weeks, the family require the nanny to stay overnight Thursday night in London. Salary up to £70,000.00 gross per annum. During term time the family often doesn’t need the morning drop off and the start will be around 2.30pm.
