Heidi aged 4 is a gorgeous, happy-go-lucky girl who enjoys her books, toys and music. Her 19 month old sister Evie is a very smiley and enquiring little person. Both children are very active and engaged. Heidi has a congenital heart condition and some physical developmental delay due to a long hospital stay as a baby. She is intellectually and emotionally age-appropriate. Heidi uses a tracheostomy and is fed via a gastrostomy tube.
This family are looking for an SEN Nanny to look after their two daughters and support them with all the usual nanny duties as well as the additional caring responsibilities for Heidi. You will be responsible for the children’s’ play and promote their development through age-appropriate activities and fun trips out. Prior tracheostomy and gastrostomy would be preferable, but for the right candidate and the right commitment, the family could offer training.
Both parents work full-time so they are looking for someone who is extremely reliable with fantastic timekeeping. You should be a great communicator and able to relay updates and information to the parents with ease. The family do require all candidates to be OFSTED registered (or someone who is willing to go through this process, all costs will be covered by the family).
This is a great opportunity to support two delightful little girls who are early on in their development so you’ll be able to make a positive impact on their lives. In turn, you will be working with a friendly and supportive family who can offer training and are ready to invest in you. To apply please send your CV to Rachael at Snap.
Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
