Wage / Salary: Monday to Friday £10.00 gross per hour, Saturday and Sunday £12.00 gross per hour.
Driver required? Essential, confident driving an adapted vehicle
Use of a car? On duty
Essential Experience: Good written and verbal communication skills, experience with children and young people and an ability to engage positively with children with additional needs and encourage choice

Days & Hours: The position is for ‘bank’ – ideal for those wanting extra hours alongside their current job. The rota includes daytime hours, evenings, sleep-ins and weekends.

Tom is a sparky, ferociously independent 10-year-old who loves school and swimming! Tom has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and a visual impairment.
As a member of bank staff, you will be available for a mixture of shifts and responsibilities; from all aspects of personal care during the morning routine and making sure Tom is ready for school transport, to accompanying him to different extracurricular activities, and settling in for his night time routine.
This job will suit a person who is self-motivated and calm, able to deal competently with any challenges that arise when working within a small care team.
This will be a truly rewarding position. There will be an induction period and ongoing supervision.
