Driver Essential? No, but if you do there is use of a vehicle when on duty
Essential: One year hands on experience supporting children with physical disabilities, Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one, *female candidates only

About this client/child:
Annie is 10 years old and lives with her mum and little sister. She is chatty and sociable and loves to be active. Just a few of her favourite things are playing with her toys, swimming, getting out and about on her trike, and spending time with her family. Annie has Cerebral Palsy affecting all four limbs, (she is a wheelchair user) and epilepsy. Annie eats orally and loves her food but requires gentle guidance and supervision with eating.
Overview of role:
Annie attends a local school which she loves. Your shift begins when she is dropped off by school transport. You will support her with developing social, self-help, skills, and exploring new interests hobbies. There will be some daily exercises to carry out before teatime and preparing for bedtime. Annie will require support in moving from her wheelchair to chair shower and personal care. On alternate Saturdays, Annie visits her dad, and you will accompany her. Term time: Monday and Wednesday, 3.30 pm to 8.00 pm / School holidays, Monday, and Wednesday, 10.30 am to 8.00 pm and Saturdays, 09.00 am to 7.00 pm
