Anwar has Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), uses Proloquo2go to support his communication and attends an ABA Therapy centre/school in Central London. For the past two years Anwar has been working hard with his therapists and is making great progress, in particular Positive Behaviour Support, works very well. Anwar finds noisy or busy environments trigger behaviours, and he needs support with his self-regulation, self-help and independence skills. Our client is seeking an experienced SEN Nanny / Manny with a strong background in supporting children with ASC to provide 1:1 support.

Overview of role: The SEN Nanny / Manny will support Anwar with his morning routine, and complete the school drop off. With your support and guidance, Anwar’s afternoons and evenings will be packed with activities, fun, and the opportunities to engage in real life learning experience to enhance his independence. The usual dinner, bath and bedtime routine is included. During school holidays there will be more scope to engage Anwar to explore new activities and hobbies. The family are keen for Anwar’s SEN Nanny / Manny to travel on holidays with the family. Further information is available on application.

Who this job would suit: An experienced, professional, and dedicated SEN Nanny or Manny seeking a long-term live-in position. You must have a keen interest in learning ABA, as training is provided, and this is the method of teaching that Anwar has responded extremely positively to. A high energy, bubbly and positive personality is essential; Anwar is extremely active and will want his SEN Nanny / Manny to match him in this area.

What’s great about this job: Accommodation completed to a high spec, training in ABA therapy, and a competitive salary.
