Liam is a social, funny, and energetic young chap with a love for food, music (Beatles and MUSE), films and their soundtracks, animals, and sensory games. He is an incredibly witty guy with great one-liners! Liam has Downs syndrome and Autism Spectrum Condition; he attends an SEN school placement and requires support before and after school and during school holidays. As Liam’s Support Worker you will assist with the morning routine; supporting Liam to get ready for school and assisting him to get to the school bus which usually arrives by 8.30am. The afternoon will consist of preparing dinner/tea, assisting Liam with his personal care; engaging Liam in activities and/or spending time out in the community. Additional hours available during school holidays if desired, outside the contracted 31.75 hours per week.

Who this job would suit: This role will suit an outgoing but calm, proactive and robust SEN Support Worker / PA with previous experience supporting teenagers with behavioural needs. For this role you must be a non-smoker/vaper and comfortable working in a busy household with pets.
