About this client: Josh is 23 years old and lives at home with his Mum, Dad, and younger twin sisters in Cooling, Kent. Snap Care has had the pleasure of working with Josh for several years, and he has a supportive, dedicated, and caring team providing round-the-clock support enabling him to live independently. Josh is a real character, he has a long list of hobbies and interests, including listening to music, using his heated swimming pool, trips out, sightseeing, and spending time in his sensory room. Josh has a physical and learning disability, he is a full-time wheelchair user, receives his fluid, medication and nutrition via a PEG, oxygen via a nasal cannula, and communicates using sounds, facial expressions, and body language. Josh’s team is expanding and we have opportunities offering both full and part-time contracts.
Overview of role: Josh requires his SEN Buddy / PA to assist with all areas of his ADLs, personal care, medical needs, therapy programmes, social aspect, along with facilitating his role as a big brother! If Josh has plans to go out, you will be working alongside another team member providing 2:1 care and support, enabling Josh to participate in his planned activities. When working at home, the role is 1:1. Josh has a busy schedule, established routines, and requires his SEN Buddy / PA to promote his independence, and advocate for him. His home is fully adapted to meet all his needs, and full training is provided in all aspects of his care and support. Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance and for the right person, there is flexibility to work around other work / home commitments.

Josh is keen to have his team bring in new ideas and expand his already long list of hobbies and interests.
