A message from Sally Britton, MD Snap CareBlack and white photo of Sally Britton

This is an unsettling time for everyone, and especially so for vulnerable clients, and families with vulnerable children or family members.

We have been engaging with candidates, clients, parents and case managers, and it's clear that wherever possible, everyone wants to try and work within a new 'normal'. We have created a COVID-19 webpage to keep everyone updated.

Active Recruitment
We have all been working remotely since 16th March, we were fortunate to already be set up to do so. So while it is clearly not 'business as usual', we are able to offer all our services remotely/online. I am very grateful to have such a dedicated team around me who are committed to supporting our clients, families and job seekers. Their lives have been turned upside down as much as everybody.

COVID-19 Resources
The Snap team has been busy with recruitment, but we have also been gathering information that we hope will be useful in these unprecedented times and in this newsletter, there are links to our new resources list specifically during the Covid-19 outbreak. These include activities, well-being tips, and online learning / educational resources.

Employment Questions Podcast
Not surprisingly we have been asked lots of questions around employment and COVID-19. We were delighted to join up with solicitors, Boyes Turner to record a Podcast to answer some of those, with more Podcasts/webinars planned. It was everyone's first time recording a podcast, so I think it's fair to say it might not be the slickest performance!. Do have a listen it has some really useful info.

So stay strong, stay well and remember, this too will pass. Sally

We've compiled some of our favourite SEN resources and some that we just thought were fun, keep children entertained or just help to bring about some calmness!

Candidates Available

It's not business as usual of course, but we are actively recruiting. We recommend interviewing via video initially. When you meet in person, could you conduct the interview in your garden? Easier to keep 2 metres apart and out in the fresh air. You can see a list of just some of the available candidates here

Travel documents

If you have a support worker/ SEN Nanny/Manny etc. who has been placed by Snap Care and they need to travel to your house to work, we can provide a travel document confirming their status as an essential worker. Please contact us if we can assist with this.
