Advik and Avi are handsome twins who will be turning 5 in November. They have both started mainstream school very recently and seem to be progressing well at present. Advik and Avi are both on autistic spectrum with some delay in their communication. Both are toilet trained and sleep well throughout the night. Advik in particular likes listening to stories from books, colouring and pretend activities, such as cooking. Avi enjoys Lego, joining dots and listening to stories (he likes being read to!). They both like playing with their toy trains and cars and love riding on their bikes.
The family are looking for an experienced after-school SEN Nanny to support both boys. The job entails picking up from the school (takes 15 minutes on foot), supporting them with early reading and writing skills, preparing healthy dinners and engaging in activities/ afterschool clubs, playdates etc. The SEN Nanny will be expected to follow bath time and bed time routines, tidy up after the boys and prepare their school uniform/school bags for the next morning. Additional hours can be made available during the holidays and will be agreed with the family directly.
This job will suit someone who is confident working in a sole charge capacity and able to re-direct and manage less desirable behaviours at times. Both parents have demanding jobs so will require candidates who are extremely reliable. This is a great opportunity to support two very sweet boys and to continue to support their development. To apply for this position please send your CV to Rachael at Snap.
