Up to £16.50 gross per hour. Weekend Waking Night Carer position available on a care team in CR5 providing support to a young man aged 15 who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

Wage / Salary: £14.50 weekday nights, £16.50 weekend nights
Driver required? Preferable
Use of a car? On duty, automatic
Essential: Previous experience with children/young people with additional needs
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Alternate Friday and Saturday Nights 8:00pm - 8:00am 
Family Pets: 1 dog

Lloyd is a 15-year-old young man who enjoys spending time with his family, going out and about with them and watching YouTube. Lloyd has cerebral palsy and epilepsy and receives his food via a PEG. Lloyd is non-verbal and requires adult help for all his care needs including personal care, hoisting and medicine administration.

We’re looking to recruit a Female* Waking Night Carer to join Lloyd’s home care team and provide the best care and implement his therapies. This is a weekend position and the contracted hours available are alternate Saturday and Sunday nights. 

This position will suit someone who has previous experience working with children or young people with similar needs, is dedicated, professional and committed to helping a young man reach his potential and receive the very best care. There will be training opportunities and good case manager support.
