£15.00 Gross per Hour! Enthusiastic, reliable and trustworthy Weekend Support Worker to join Izzy’s small care team.

Location: Area, Postcode: Staines, TW18
Nearest Train Station: Staines
Wage / Salary: £13.00 gross per hour weekdays and £15.00 gross per hour weekends
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty
Essential Experience: Supporting a client with cerebral palsy and gastrostomy feed.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Saturdays from 08.00 am – 11.00 pm and Sundays from 08.00 am until 10.00 pm. We are looking for several candidates to cover the hours available.  There may also be some shifts available during the week from 7.00 pm – 10.00 pm and additional daytime hours during the school holidays.

Izzy is an engaging, loving and sweet 12 year old who enjoys listening to stories, music, massage and sensory toys. Izzy has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, is registered blind and is administered her nutrition and medication via her peg.

This role will involve undertaking all aspects of personal care – feeding, changing and bathing. Assisting and encouraging Izzy to experience and enjoy all activities of daily life and to carry out any therapeutic programmes as recommended by family or professionals.

This job will suit a lively personality with a sunny deposition and a true passion for supporting children with additional needs. Izzy is looking for support workers who have high standards of practice, a therapeutic approach and a desire to learn and understand her specific needs and desires.
