Days & Hours: Sunday 10.00am – 7.00pm and up to 40 hours per week during school holidays.
Lizzy 14, is a whirlwind! We are currently looking for a super Snap candidate to support Lizzy on weekends and during school holiday initially, with the opportunity to increase from a part-time to full time role in 2018. Lizzy has cerebral palsy which affects her mobility and her communication however she is a whizz with her eye-gaze and using a communication board.
The role will involve assisting Lizzy with her daily tasks, such as personal care, movement and exercises. Most importantly you will arrange days out for shopping, pamper days, dining alfresco (weather permitted) and to gigs, festivals…the list goes on. The family would like a candidate to travel abroad – so if you are a jet setter, this is the post for you!
This job will suit a candidate who is out going, who understands the importance of promoting independence and has a real passion for working 1:1 and implementing therapies.
