Lloyd is a 15-year-old teenager who enjoys spending time with his family, getting out and about, watching YouTube and attending hydrotherapy sessions. Lloyd has cerebral palsy and epilepsy and receives his food via a PEG. Lloyd is non-verbal and requires adult help for all his care needs including personal care, hoisting and medicine administration.
We’re looking to identify an experience *female waking night carer to join Lloyd’s home care team to assist with the night routine. In this role you’ll tend to all of Lloyd’s care needs throughout the night, assisting with personal care, manual handling, administer medication and ensure he is comfortable and settled for a good night’s sleep. Lloyds requires close monitoring due to his complex care needs.
This position will suit someone who has previous night care experience. The role requires a dedicated, professional and committed person. Excellent training opportunities available.
