Essential Experience: Supporting a client with epilepsy, waking night experience

Days & Hours: Monday to Thursday 11.00pm – 9.00am
Jason (nearly 7) is a charming, cheeky and sociable boy who is full of enthusiasm; he is a great big brother to his two sisters! Jason has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and is administered all nutrition, fluids and medication via peg.
This position will involve supporting Jason during the night with all his needs including, but not limited to, personal care, administering medication, assisting with the morning routine of getting ready for school or appointments. Jason can wake several times throughout the night or he can sleep right through, no two nights are the same and we are trying to determine the level of support he requires going forward, so it is vital that you monitor and record accurate information. You will be confident with complex medical care, personal care and have experience in a waking night role.
This job will suit an empathetic, caring and kind person who enjoys working within a family home and providing 1:1 support. Jason is a great little guy to work with, he has a supportive family and we are looking for fantastic Waking Night Carer to join his team.
