Days & Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 4.00pm

About this client/child:
George aged 11, is a bright and articulate boy who loves drama, music, Japanese animations Manga and Anime. George is autistic which can impact his social skills and behaviour, but this is usually very well managed under a programme of interventions and support. He attends a mainstream school and is top of his class academically.

Overview of role:
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support George with his home-schooling during lockdown. The school George attends have provided lots of online resources so your role will be to help him access this material and keep him engaged and focused throughout the day. The family are ideally looking for someone Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm, although for the right candidate they can be flexible regarding hours and days.

Who this job would suit:
You will need a solid autism experience and be confident in behaviour management. Personality wise someone who is sparky, energetic, patient and personable would fit in well. A driver with their own car would be nice but is not essential.
