About this client/child:
Chloe is a vibrant and happy 6-year-old girl, with a good sense of humour. She has lots of energy and thrives on activities such as dancing, singing and swimming. She also loves role play and has an active imagination. Chloe has a diagnosis of Autism. She can experience high levels of anxiety, sensory and behavioural difficulties which require a fair, consistent and kind approach. Chloe can find it difficult to regulate her emotions but has been making great progress in the last few months.
Overview of role:
We are looking for an SEN Nanny who can give the family respite and support. This will include taking and collecting Chloe from school, spending time with her after school, either playing with her at home or arranging activities outside of the house. During the weekend Chloe loves to explore, so there will be lots of opportunity to arrange activities further afield. The family are looking for someone who can commit long-term so Chloe can build a good bond with them to ultimately help reduce her anxiety and over-dependence on her parents. The family are working with a highly experienced Early Interventions Consultant (who work with Snap) who will liaise with the SEN Family Support Worker on strategies and techniques.
Who this job would suit:
The ideal person for this rewarding role, will have a good imagination, be very animated, full of energy and someone who is fun to be around. Chloe needs someone who is happy to be very active with her and can encourage sport and exercise.
What’s great about this job:
This is an amazing opportunity to support Chloe through her daily challenges, support her parents and in turn have a positive impact on family life as a whole.
