£16.00 gross per hour. Energetic Temporary SEN Nanny with autism experience required from 8th - 19th March for active brothers in Ladbroke Grove!

Essential: Experience with children on the autistic spectrum, someone with a willingness to learn new strategies and techniques
Start Date: 8th March 2020
Days & Hours: 8th March - 19th March Monday - Friday 7.30 am - 9.00am and 3.30pm - 8.00pm 
Accommodation: Double room and shared bathroom (Live-out option may also be available)

Simon aged 4 is an energetic little boy who enjoys outdoor activities, physical play and engages in lots of repetitive behaviour. Simon is autistic and he is non-verbal but he is learning Makaton and starts to use his speech in a functional way. He can occasionally present with behaviour that challenges. Simon has no sense of danger and likes to climb and run very fast, he needs to be under constant supervision. 

Ben is 7 and is very sweet and affectionate. He loves imaginative play, making up stories and reading. He likes arts and crafts, playing with Lego and he enjoys learning. 

We are seeking a temporary SEN Nanny to support the boys while their permanent nanny is annual leave,  someone who can respond appropriately to the different needs of both children, who can build a caring relationship with the brothers while setting up clear boundaries and routines. You will need extensive experience with children with autism and speech delay, but mum is very happy to provide training of strategies they are using to help both boys to reach their full potential.

Your role will be to assist with their daily routine, cook nutritious meals for the children, nursery duties and having lots of fun with both boys.
