Days & Hours: Monday – Sunday: 06.00 am – 10.00am and then 4.00pm - 7.00pm. Friday evening and Saturday morning off

We are looking for a positive, proactive and confident temporary support worker to support Lisa, aged 16 over 4 weeks in the summer holidays.
Lisa is a charming young lady who enjoys arts and crafts, music, cooking and loves to sing. Lisa has two younger siblings. Lisa has Batten disease which is a neuro degenerative disease. As a result, Lisa is blind, uses a wheelchair and has an epilepsy.
You role will be to organise and accompany Lisa to her activities and trips out, as well as support her with her daily routine, assist with personal care and meal preparation. You should be proactive and dynamic in your approach to working with Lisa and really engage with her when you are together. You will need a background of supporting clients with epilepsy and you must be confident to be able to administer Buccal midazolam.
This fantastic and rewarding position will suit an active, energetic and fun support worker who will build a trusting relationship with Lisa and help her to enjoy the summer holidays.
