Laura is an active, articulate and capable young lady who is looking for an active and fun support worker to enable her to do the energetic activities she loves including tennis and horse riding. Laura is 12 and has cerebral palsy.
This role is centred on supporting Laura to develop her independence, functional skills and supporting her to access her chosen seasonal activities. Laura is very physically able and walks well unassisted. Laura has started tennis and horse riding lessons and would like an energetic and active support worker to accompany her.
This role will suit a safety conscious, sporty and thoughtful support worker who can help Laura develop her functional skills when out and about. Laura does not handle money and needs support when making independent decisions such as the right clothes for the right activity and ensuring she has the right kit.
This role offers the opportunity to help Laura develop her independence, functional skills and to have as much fun as she can during her Christmas break from school. In this role you will be kept busy with fun activities and sports as well as having the opportunity to get to know this lovely young lady.
