Mia has an acquired brain injury, sensory processing disorder and can present with challenging behaviour. Mia is currently not attending any school and follows a home programme.

Your role will be to support Mia with her home school plan for a period until a suitable placement is found for her. You will focus on functional and life skills, behavioural management, encourage academic learning, assist with personal care, encourage positive interaction between the siblings, and of course, have lots of fun.

This is a busy family home, you will need to be a team player who has the ability to work alongside mum, the current support worker and case manager as well as taking sole charge when required.
