Days & Hours: Contracted 45 hours per week. Shifts available: Weekdays: 15:30 to 20:00, Weekends: 08:00 to 20:00, Nights: 20:00 to 08:00, School Holidays 08:00 to 20:00, On-call duties, 7 hours per week admin duties.

A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced team leader to manage a busy care team in Catford. Our client Benjamin is 8 years old, he has complex needs and is dependent on others to meet all his care needs. Benjamin has Total Body Dystonia which affects all areas of his development. He is a wheelchair user and uses a hoist for transfers. Benjamin lives at home with his Mummy and 3 brothers; he loves spending time with his family.

For this position, we require a team leader who will monitor, implement and update the care plans, risk assessments and protocols to maintain safety. Complete and manage the staff rota, plan and organize medical and therapy appointments, ensure that clinical notes are completed to a high standard and produce a monthly report detailing Benjamin’s care needs and the progress he has made. The team leader will manage, mentor and support all team members, arrange and carry out supervisions, appraisals, and training and lead inclusive team meetings. Team management will also include Managing payroll, annual leave, holiday requests, and petty cash. The team leader will also manage stocks ensuring Benjamin has everything he needs and whilst on shift with Benjamin will deliver 1:1 support and complete personal care and therapy programmes.

In this role, you must be computer literate, be an excellent communicator and confident liaising with Benjamin’s family, case manager and multidisciplinary team. Full flexibility and availability to work a mixture of days/nights and weekends are essential. A clean driving license is also essential and we are looking for a Team Leader willing to travel with this family across the UK and Abroad on holidays.
